I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
