Dear Team—
I understand you all just completed your town hall - I trust you’re as thrilled as I am with the good news. Previously I shared you all a message, I expressed the following: “I am confident in this team. You all are some of the most motivated and creative designers we have had the pleasure to work with - and we’re excited for that collaboration to persist.”
With your dedication and adaptability, especially over the last year, you repeatedly show that.
The community feedback from last fall’s Project ETHOS testing phase was informative. It affirmed the promise of a action-packed game but made clear we still had work to do. It highlighted the requirement for a sharper brand.
It has been motivating to see how far you’ve come. You accepted the feedback to mind and reimagined Project ETHOS with a revitalized vision - one that’s poised to achieve its potential to our players.
Our confidence in this project grows every day. To boost the incredible development you’ve made, I’m excited to introduce Ben Brinkman as the incoming Studio Head of 31st Union. Following some time of discussions, Ben officially joins us on Monday, October 20.
His guidance and experience in the competitive gaming field is vast, having devoted the recent years developing and leading some of the most popular titles in the industry, including the acclaimed shooter, and lately, Apex Legends.
I invite you all in receiving Ben soon. We are all excited to persist observing the progress of the game in the time to come.
